It may not be on your radar yet, but Guadalajara is definitely worth a visit. The city is so much more than just tequila – it’s got amazing food, culture and people! Here are five reasons why I think everyone should come to Guadalajara:

Guadalajara

The weather in the city

The weather is beautiful, between 60 and 70 degrees (16-21 C) throughout the year. There are four seasons but they are mild, with rainy summers and dry winters. The best time to visit is during spring or fall when you can enjoy mild temperatures without intense heat or cold.

Guadalajara

The city is a cultural melting pot

Guadalajara is a city that is home to many cultures, including the indigenous and Spanish. As such, there are many museums and galleries that showcase the history of this beautiful city. In addition to these cultural attractions, there are also plenty of parks where you can relax or play sports such as soccer or volleyball.

The Guadalajara area offers countless opportunities for outdoor activities like hiking through nature preserves or biking along trails in scenic areas like Lake Chapala (which has been called Mexico’s “Lake Tahoe”). If you’re looking for something less strenuous but still adventurous, try zip-lining across valleys!

There’s a wide variety of food

If you’re a foodie, you’ll be in heaven. There’s a wide variety of food, from traditional Mexican to international cuisine. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican-Japanese fusion or just want some sushi, Guadalajara has got your back!

After arriving in Guadalajara airport and getting settled into your hotel room, you should head out on foot (the best way) and explore the city! There are lots of things that tourists come here for: museums and historical sites; beautiful parks; delicious food; nightlife…you name it!

You might want some advice from locals before exploring on your own – so make sure to ask around when looking for something specific (like cheap restaurants).

World-class museums and art galleries

There are many museums and galleries in Guadalajara, but some of the best ones are Teatro Degollado, Museo de Arte Contemporaneo de Guadalajara (MACG), Museo Regional de Guadalajara, Museo Jose Clemente Orozco and Museo del Chopo. These places have world-class exhibits that will make you want to visit again and again!
