A green giant with huge crystal eyes guards a sparkling treasure hidden behind picturesque living walls… It spews a waterfall into a large lake, welcoming visitors who dare (and why not?) take a chance to enter these famous premises… Every year, the Swarovski Kristallwelten Museum welcomes guests-those who are attracted by this fascinating environment, which serves as an entrance to the dazzling world of crystals.

The Giant’s Kingdom holds a rich collection of precious objects located in 17 Halls of Wonders. Here, in this fantasy world, inspired and created by the greatest artists of the world, visitors can, even for a moment, believe in miracles!

The Swarovski Museum appeared in Austria in 1995 in honor of the 100th anniversary of the crystal manufacturer. It is located in Wattens, where the company was founded, and at first occupied 3.5 hectares of land. The concept was developed by Andre Heller, an Austrian artist, poet, songwriter, singer and actor.

Inside the head of the legendary giant, visitors will find an underground labyrinth of 17 crystal halls of wonders that surprise and amuse the audience with exciting, intricate, colorful and amazing installations.

The original principle of these halls is based on the historical chamber of wonders in the castle of Ambras, which was quite successful in the XVI century attempt to collect a universal collection of all the knowledge known at that time. In the Halls of Wonders of the Swarovski Museum in Wattens, internationally and nationally recognized artists, designers and architects interpreted crystal in their own way, creating concepts of space and mood from sparkling material.

The crown of the delightful creation is a Crystal Cloud hovering over a black Mirror Pond. This mystical masterpiece is decorated with 800,000 hand-set Swarovski crystals and is an amazing sight.

Children will also like it here: an exciting game tower will give them an unforgettable experience. On its four floors, you can not only have a lot of fun, but also feel the space in a new way!

Regardless of the weather and air temperature, at the beginning of December, a magical winter comes to the spacious garden of the Swarovski Museum. Visitors are greeted by an elegant Christmas tree with sparkling lights, a popular thematic photo zone appears – a giant sled with a place for gifts, and glowing animal figures create a fabulous mood.
