On the territory of the Canary Islands there are many attractions that you should definitely look at during your vacation.

Canary Islands

One of them is the cave of the Guanches, located in a gorge called Guayadeque.

These caves have an amazing feature, which is that during any weather (hot or cold) inside them there is always a comfortable temperature that does not change. Some caves are still inhabited by people.

On the territory of the village of Guimar there are pyramids with the same name. Until some time, the pyramids were considered only a heap of stones. In the village itself there are 6 pyramids out of 9 that existed. To date, an ethnological park has been opened at the site of their location.

The next attraction of the Canary Islands is a waterfall under the strange name “Gorge of Hell”. It is still unknown why it was named that way. Around the waterfall is a green oasis that stretches across the hot, barren south of Tenerife.

If you like hiking, be sure to take a walk to this waterfall. It is worth noting that the “Gorge of Hell” is the only waterfall that has a natural origin.

When taking a boat trip, be sure to take a look at the Giant Cliffs, which are natural rock formations plunging into the waters of the ocean.

Another attraction of the Canary Islands is Lake Martianes, which, among other things, is a recreation complex built in the 70s of the twentieth century.

From the lake, whose area is 15,000 m2, there are several dozen fountains.

On its surface you can see small volcanic islands. Along the shore of the lake, you can see pools that are smaller in size, but tourists with children like to relax next to them.
